A strategic north star helping brands refine their presence, find their voice & grow.

OFFERINGS

I've been brand-obsessed since I was a kid — I’d print out product pages and slip them under my parents' pillows. I've always been drawn to finding the best-of in any given category, and that instinct is at the core of how I work.

I spent my early career inside some of the most culturally visible organizations in fashion, beauty, and media in New York City. The through-line in everything I've done: I know what levers to pull to reinvent & refine a brand across all touch points.

As a brand & creative strategist, I partner with teams who need clarity on who they are, confidence in how they show up, and a presence that actually moves the needle.

“Kat’s work has radically changed the perception of our organization. She’s transformed the look, feel, tone, and overall brand experience across our digital touch points, which has led to renewed attendance and pride in our legacy automotive organization. She's been an extension of our own team and been key to our overall success.”

— Omar Khalil, Detroit Auto Dealers Association // Detroit Auto Show

“Kat is a joy to work with. We found her early in our content creation journey and appreciated how effectively she connected our business strategy with deliberate creative pillars. Her work is sharp, thoughtful, and extremely thorough.”

— Sara Haig, Senior Growth Marketing Manager // Hatch

Helping brands tell their story through creative assets that refine, inspire, and set the tone.

About Me

Katarina Kovac began her career at some of the most storied organizations in fashion, beauty, and media.

She began in New York City early, interning with designers like Rebecca Minkoff and working New York Fashion Week before pushing her way into Vogue Magazine — writing for the site and executing events including the Met Gala (2018 Heavenly Bodies), Tony Awards and Forces of Fashion. She then joined LoveSeen, the beauty brand founded by Jenna Lyons, former President and Creative Director of J.Crew, as its first employee on payroll — building it from a founder's living room into Target stores nationwide, and supporting the production of Stylish with Jenna Lyons on HBO Max along the way. As Architectural Digest's first Commerce Producer, she helped one of the world's most trusted taste-making brands navigate the intersection of editorial credibility and commercial performance.

Today she works with companies helping marketing & creative teams and agencies develop the strategic clarity, creative strategy and editorial voice needed to grow and evolve without losing their initial ‘why’. Her clients span hospitality, lifestyle, automotive, and beauty.

She has an immense curiosity about people & things: how they carry themselves, what makes them tick, why their passions are what they are.

She's a Michigan native and a University of Michigan graduate. Go Blue!
