About kat.

A young woman with brown hair tied back, smiling with eyes closed, wearing a striped button-up shirt and black pants, sitting on a stool against a beige background.

Katarina Kovac began her career at some of the most visible organizations in fashion, beauty, and media.

She ran to New York City as soon as she could, interning with designers in social media & PR like Rebecca Minkoff and working New York Fashion Week before pushing her way into Vogue Magazine — writing for the site and executing events including the Met Gala (2018 Heavenly Bodies), Tony Awards and Forces of Fashion. She then joined LoveSeen, the beauty brand founded by Jenna Lyons, former President and Creative Director of J.Crew, as its first employee on payroll — building it from a founder's living room into Target stores nationwide, and supporting the production of Stylish with Jenna Lyons on HBO Max along the way.

After that, she joined Architectural Digest as their first Commerce Producer, she helped one of the world's most trusted taste-making brands navigate the intersection of editorial credibility and commercial performance.

Today she helps teams at the intersection of brand marketing and communications: how you show up, where you're showing up, why you're showing up, and what actually moves the needle.

Her clients span hospitality, lifestyle, automotive, and beauty. She has a keen perception on what will engage an audience both visually, contextually, and within product choice.

Kovac graduated with a B.A. in English from the University of Michigan.
